Environment Info

I just wanted to take a moment to describe my current personal development environment. This has been an evolving thing for the last decade now.
This website is currently being hosted as an Azure static web app and my ability to deal with html and css are very limited. It is the most basic website set up with Git CI/CD implementation. This is very new and I hope to eventually showcase the entire end to end process and not just the final product.

Environment Description Services
On-Prem Most of my personal projects are done via a VM created on my own personal desktop. This VM will run almost everything locally to save cost when possible. Though this has the disadvantage of not being up 24/7. SQL Server, postgresql, SSIS services, etc.
Cloud This is mainly a sandboxed, low-cost Azure cloud environment with me as the admin (and only user). Various services have been set up for my needs in creating POCs or learning. DevOps, Git repos, CI/CD, key vaults, Microsoft Entra ID (Active Directory), data factories, storage accounts (files, data lakes, etc.), azure sql databases, Cosmo databases, automation accounts, logic apps, and anything else that is either free or low cost.

Power BI Service This is obviously hosted by Microsoft under a developer account. That being said, this will limit the type of data types I will be able to utilize and automation will likely be disabled to live services to save cost. Automated refresh on semantic models and reports. Some Power Automate jobs and tinkering with PowerApps (very loosely).
Miscellaneous I do have containers and Linux VMs set up when necessary for learning new technology stacks, though I consider these much more temporary. I also have vairous free VMs created in the cloud for experimental use (GCP and Oracle Cloud). Various containers like Apache Airflow, postgresql, etc.
